What is “Romeo and Juliet” if not a timeless love story, regardless of the tragedy, their love seems to be eternal, an infinit embrace, a kiss that still burns sealed by death in a capsule that shall outlive time.
This timeless concept became the center of our proposal. Like a rope knot that gets tighter when you pull the ends apart, their embrace is illustrated as a fluid duality (“Love is heavy and light, bright and dark, hot and cold, sick and healthy, asleep and awake- its everything except what it is!” – Act 1, scene 1 ), where Juliet is golden as seen through her lovers eyes („But, soft! what light trough yonder window breaks? / It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.” – Act 2, scene 2).
